Just bought a 92 GST manual transmission.

Could I take my ECU out of my Galant and plug it in the GST ECU's place? It's throwing CEL and is idling at 1700 rpms.

So I would like to use ECMLink to help figure everything out.

Is there any problem with the procedure I stated above? The only thing I'm worried about is the ISC blowing my drivers.

For idle could be lots of things, usually boost leaks, ISC, could be ECU, ECMLink I have it but it helped some but most of it was standard idle issues. My ECMLink showed me IPS switch, and the TPS volts, and I could simulate the idle switch.
