Hey guys, today I started my car for the first time in almost 2 years. It went through a pretty hefty rebuild and this is my first time using ECMlink.

I'm having trouble with the basics, getting the idle down and steady etc. At first start it sat up around 3k and now after some TPS and Idle Switch simulation adjustments, it's surging between 1200-1800 ish.

Here's a log with a bunch of stuff captured. It was taken after TPS adjustments and about 10 minutes after first start.

Please help, with anything you notice. I have a lot to learn.

That is a crazy looking log. You're o2 sensor isn't cycling like it is supposed to and your engine is switching between open and closed loop multiple times per second. That is not normal and needs to be addressed first. Are you using the stock o2 sensor (as opposed to a wbo2 in narrowband sim)?

Log more items as well, more the better. Be sure to get battery voltage on there too.

Alright, I had some time to mess with it this weekend and it's running much better. The problem it had with cycling in and out was I had the Simulate idle switch box checked. I unchecked that and the o2 starting working and it stayed in closed loop.

After that I fixed some pretty large boost leaks, one at the isc, and another coming from the compressor and backplate lip. I think my only problem now is the FIAV. It holds a steady 1,000 rpm idle and I have ecmlink set to 875.

So now I have this full warm up log. A couple part and WOT revs near the end.

I've messed a little with the maf trying to get airflowperrev and combinedft where they should be.

Any pointers, am I looking good?

Okay, the log is there now. I think there is some MAF and deadtime adjustments to be made still but I would like to have the idle down another 200rpms before the final tweakings.

BISS adjustment was done and where it is now, it is only 1/2 turn from bottoming out. Idle is still around 1050rpm and is set for 875.

ISC was checked out, coils were good, motor moved in and out.

I'm hoping it's just the FIAV not seating all the way when it warms. I won't get to blocking that off to find out for another few days though.
