ecmlink and gm maf

When ever i change the maf setting in ecmlink to GM MAF I get a code 12 (mass air circuit malfunction). Has anyone had this issue?? I sent the cable in to get it checked and was told it's working.


It can't be my wiring harness because when I run the stock 1g maf I do not get the code 12.

I know that with a traslator you need to dial in what sized gm mas you have 3" 3.5" ect.. I would look into that. See if what size the sensor needs to be input into ecmlink.

Check the airflow compensation page in link and see what the maf is set to. ie stock, 3in gm, 3.5in gm maf.

3in to 3.5in shouldnt matter. I run a GM maf as well and can either pic 3in or 3.5 and have no issues. it changes idle slightly but no code are thrown. Possible bad maf it self.

I run link with the maf never had a code from it, it could simply be the maf cheap enough even used.
