Added onto the carport this past week and finally moved my GS-T up with the other two.

I took it off and laid it up against the wall , Just wanted a CF one.
Nope didn't shave it. The RS and Talon are both the type that unscrew and the GS-T is the power antenna. And yes, they are all mine bought with my money as well.

I found an 87 Chrysler Conquest today in my area for sale. I'm really thinking about buying it and putting a 4g63 in it. If I do paint might have to wait awhile.

Yep all three are mine.

Sorry for being so out of touch guys, just started college this work and have been really busy. I believe my bonus comes in next paycheck so piant should be on the way soon. Also picked up a new engine for her

No updates really but I ran the car at the local track Friday night and my best run was a 9.63 (1/8th mile)!

That is me racing my buddy with a completely gutted SR20 200sx. This time I ran a 9.77. This was my first run of the night, still getting used to launching 5spd.
Sorry you can't hear my car except for the blow off valve... Its so quiet.

He did not win If I remember correctly I think he ran a 10.1?. Its on the timeslip, too lazy to look . He beat me off the line bad, but ran a slower time and I caught him before the end of the track. My launching sucks. I've been drag racing off and on for about 3 years now, but this was the second time drag racing a 5spd, and the car I'd been racing is an automatic, its hard to get used too. So many variables.

you murdering a talon bumper makes me sad.... . Looks like it'll work quite nicely though! So are you going to put "Talon" on the center taillight?

No sir. Just gonna paint the center tail light green. I am shaving the eagle emblem off the front too. Just trying to be different. It will look great i promise!
Its just gonna be a GS-Talon thats all.

Long and dated thread but here goes: (From the factory..) 2G Eagles and Eclipses made side by side at the Normal plant in Illinois.

Same vehicle, same options, same junk inside, but just different nameplates.

Just the nameplates and monikers to identify which make is which. Nothing else.

Guess who had the higher resale value?

The Eclipse due to it's not being related or have any reference to Chrysler.

Prob why the Laser was removed from the line outside of it's being replaced by the NEON .. being a Chrysler nameplate.

..and the Eclipse remained with us until last year.

Ok? What is the relevance of this post? Not trying to be an ass, just curious. Me and 007Jimmy both converted our Eclipses to Talons simply because we like the look better. Many people liked the idea and wanted to stay updated, hence why we keep uploading new pictures.

Not just Tampa. Its rare anywhere really. I see a few on occasion, and I know the owners of just about all that are in Knoxville. And I have yet to see another 2gb. Well beside the pepto bismol pink girl owned n/t thats beat to hell... but i won't go there

Looking good! Can't make my final decision until it's painted though. What I think would be really cool though is if you could get your Hands on some EDM tails and put them in there, since the talons had amber turnsignals.

I love the 2gb talon, I'v never thought of adding the twisty skirts but it looks amazing.

It's funny to hear that talon's are rare... I live in Canada and its backwards... only talons everywhere with the rare eclipse.

The whole reason in wanting to keep my eclipse taillights is so I can do an led parimeter along the top and bottom of all 3 pieces. Kinda like the new dodge challenger. I really like the way it looks and if i can figure out how to do it the way I want I'll have another led strip in the center of the outer lights that will function as turn signals. It's gonna be a trial and error thing though to figure out how I want them. I have yet to find an eclipse bumper with talon accents so this is definitly a first. It would have been done tonight but the fiberglass resin kit I bought didn't have hardener in it. Someone stole it put of the Box. I was so pissed.
