2G eclipse srt rear lights conversion idea

i love my 97 talon tsi. love the front and rear bumper. also just added the 95 side skirts on it. but only thing is they never made aftermarket lights for this model. you would have to conver to an eclipse rear lights and bumper. i also love vipers. i dream car you for me to others is not, but i love the 2013 led tail lights. i been searching buy cant find a price for the pair. i think the rear 2013 viper led tail lights on a eagle talon would look hot different and sleek. let me know what you guys think. i may be planning on doing this but other got more cash flow and is a new idea if you up for something different. i photoshop the tail lights to give some what of what it may look like. here is a before and after. im open to all thoughts on this.

I can do your center..I have one here pretty much done..Comes in any color you want as long as I have the color..

That does look good but will require some custom work and $$ to do. Would be nice to see if you can make it though, would definitely make it unique.

Just replaced my tailight on my '13 Malibu and it ran a couple hundred bucks for the factory part. I couldn't imagine how much SRT part would be. It looks sweet though!

Well if can get my hands on the tail lights. I was thinking of removing the taillight and center peace tape inside of the car by the lights and center peace and foam it and take time to smooth and cut the spots for the the lights and so on. Once is where I want it use the foam as template to create a lighter peace.

I think it looks good on the talon. If you could make a plug that lets you install the lights like a factory srt then you could make some decent money. Maybe a junction between the factory talon light and work from that by dremmelling and recessing into it. A factory style texture like vht would set it off nice a well.

I think you can't find the tail lights because the SRT Viper is not yet Officially on sale. If I'm wrong, someone correct me. But they will be pricey.

I have to change my opinion. I kind of like it now that I re-did it in Photoshop myself. I took in consideration not to distort the image of the light assembly itself as you wont be able to do that in real life so I only distorted the molding as that is more plausible to make as a one off custom fab.

I never liked the original talon taillights, like that, specially in the recent red/blue talon pic, they look amazing.

I imagine it would look the same. Kinda like how people do the talon to eclipse conversion and have to swap bumpers. I could see the same needing to be done for this as well.

Wow that looks great on the talon!! Definetly brings the back end back to life because I was never a fan of the stock tail lights either!

Hope someone goes through with this I would love to see a real version of this!

I have to point out that you downsized the whole thing to fit in the talon. those lights are larget + wider than that. I know its just a sketch but I think doing it to proportion would make the look more accurate.

You are right. They are larger wider then the down sizing it photoshop. I think when it comes to someone who is going to do it the center shape where the plates go won't be as wide cause you want to get the lights lights in right spot then focus on the center

Like some people said, I am not a fan of the talons tailights neither. But this is pure sex IMO, hopefully someone does do this with their talon
