Eclipse Spyder GS-T

Hi,

As you can see om the pictures below, I've got a serious problem with my engine.
There is a hole in the piston of the 4th cylinder.
Now I found out that the mounter used the wrong sparkplug.
He assembled a NGK BUR 5ET 10.
Can somebody tell me if the wrong type sparkplug is the cause of the hole in the piston??
If not, what else can be the cause of this problem?

I've got a Eclipse Spyder GS-T from 1998. The only upgrades I've done are:
- Greddy upperpiping with BOV
- Greddy exhaust system
- Downpipe
- K&N open air filter

Hey, pretty sure those are the wrong plugs. Stock is 6 heat range and those are 5 which means it's a hotter plug which could cause nasty knock. I don't see how that could happen with a t25 unless something is really wrong.
