Hello everyone, I had this Eclipse for a while now and I've been thinking of putting a lot of work into the car. I do have an uncle that has offered to do the labour for close to nothing or free. My Eclipse currently has a 4g64 engine and I was looking to make it a 4g63 turbo bit want to change it from fwd to awd, anyone know if the engine will fit in my bay? What engine I need? 6 bolt / 7 bolt? Also what transmission? And any other things that need to be purchased to make this project successful Thanks for your time

Im not sure if it would be a direct bolt in for the engine but I think it might.. Never worked on the 64 but I think they're just about the same. Just for reference, I spent 70 total hours doing the swap on my spyder and Im very mechanically inclined with a substantial assortment of tools, everything I needed for this swap and then some. Now for someone who isnt familiar with this kind of thing it could take much longer and be pretty hard. Think about that.

There is way too much for me to list what you would need to complete this. I suggest you start reading. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/276892-fwd-gst-swap-awd-gsx-basic-merged-2-07-a.html
