I was out driving my 95' Eclipse with friends the other nite and i just shifted into 3rd gear and i "felt" in my foot a "bump" if you will. I let it coast for a bit, then tried to give it gas and it acted like it wasnt getting any power. So i downshift and it does the same thing. I gimped it home (about 2 min drive) and left it sit until mourning. In the mourning i tried to start it up and it would turn over and start but it would just instantly die. I looked under the hood thinking i would find a unhooked vacuum line or hose somewhere, but i didnt find a thing. I checked all the vacuum hoses (i think) they were all nice and tight. I called the local shop and he said i might have fried my pistons...but i dont believe i did that much damage going about 30mph. Has anyone else has this problem, or might know what i could be?? any help would be awesome. Thanks a bunch guys
