Sorry to hear you're having issues. I assume you are asking what the problem is.

Not a lot of experience with AT here, but I believe all of your codes are related. The P1776 indicates a pressure problem within the transmission, specifically the pressure sensed for the overdrive solenoid. This would have been seen by the Transmission Control Unit (TCU), which would have limited the function of the transmission as a fail safe (similar to limp mode for the engine), thereby throwing the P700 codes. The misfires are likely because the ECU received the problem message from the TCU and went into rev limit mode, ensuring the engine won't rev past 4K to help protect everything (hence the misfire codes on all cylinders).

So what is causing the pressure problem? Could be any number of things. This is where someone with more AT experience should chime in. I do know that your problems could range from nastiness in your transmission due to dirty fluid and a build-up of gunk from lack of maintenance (some grit got into the system and caused the solenoid to hang open, giving an overpressure situation in the line when not in OD), all the way to a shot transmission. In between there can be a bad solenoid, bad torque converter, valve body issues, etc. It could also be a bad TCU. This is where someone could suggest a good diagnostic process to help eliminate causes and narrow things down.

The description of the offending solenoid (overdrive solenoid, according to the scanner) is on page 2-58 of the 2g DSM Technical Information and Troubleshooting Factory Service Manual (

Dude thank you so much this narrows my problems even lesser now. Reading the manual i think my fuel pump could be causing the problem because when i try to start the car i have to crank it for a while for it to start or it might be a bad Crank sensor i already replaced it once. But i’m gonna test everything else my mechanic knowledge is limited but i remember the previous owner switched out the ecu and i recently also did a fluid flush on the transmission and i changed the filter…
