Does anyone know where to buy a C-Pillar bar for an eclipse? Its the bar that goes accross the rear seatbelt mounts.

Nope its called the c-pillar bar, it goes between the 2 rear seat belt mounts. It's extremely commone to find them for honda's and others but a pain to find them for an eclipse. Here's a pic:

I think its such bs that these bars are anything over $50. you can get a strut bar for about $20. shipped but u cant get one of these bars for less then a $100?

Honestly, if you really want to strengthen your chassis spend the extra money and get a 8 point cage. You can try RRE's lower tie bar, I have a 2G one in the classifieds, PM me if you are interested.

Or you could do something like Pagosa DSM did and then tie it up into the C-pillar.

Of course, it turns out 1g's don't really need this extra bracing since our cars are so much better, but it might help your 2g. ;)

Oooh, now that I like. That seems much more effective than the luggage rack/coat rack/BDSM tie-off. I guess he actually got it custom.

LOL... I think Pagosa DSM spent under $50 for the brace in his trunk. It pays to do your own work and have friends who can weld. :thumb:

Just to clarify, that isn't in my car, it is in his.

I have one of those stock...LOL....of course, i dont have a steel top like you to actually hold my car together

Damn, welders and their, um make-out parties!

I've got to get back into it sometime. Maybe I'll hit up the local community college welding building for a commission posting. Some of their stuff comes out pretty nice.
