Hi

I will be raplacing my head and i have encountered a problem.

What is the original head gasket height? is it 1mm? because in my country a have found 1.25, 1.4, 1.6 mm height gaskets.

I have already measured how much height i have lost from resurface so i need the starting value to get it correct.

Tried searching but wasn't able to find any specs on the OEM HG's; I would try calling one of the vendors or calling an auto parts store, they should be able to give you a strait answer.

How much has been milled from the head?

You sound like you are looking at cometic HG, a MLS style.

If that is the case, get a stock composite, doubfull a MLS will seal for long if the block has not been recently decked.

The head has been milled 0.15mm.
And i have figured it all out those gaskets that are taller have smaller dimension holes while the shorter ones have bigger ones.

The block i do not know when was it decked and i do not know if a can check that because my engine is still in one peace and beeing used unitl all the parts come.

And i think i ordered a composite german made REINZ OE head gasket if it comes a MLS should i send it back and buy the composite.

Most head gaskets are over size because when you torque the head on it crushes it down to size.
