ebay intercoolers

What is the deal with these intercoolers. They r a great price. They look huge and pretty but are they really good. I had been thinking about buying but I need one to support 500 plus and I don't think one can handle it.

I would avoid them for that level of power. They work well for <450hp, but for what you're looking for I'd spend the extra money on a Precision or Spearco core. There was a thread on Honda-Tech about this and a guy had a car making mid 500's HP (iirc) on an EBay intercooler and he switched to the 1000hp Precision core and picked up 60hp.
