I got my ebay intake pipe in the mail today so i hooked it up and everything went smooth.. i kept the factory lines that go into the pipe because i dont like the ricey look of the ebay ones.

The bov is RECIRCULATED and everything is hooked up just the way it should be, the weird thing is on the ebay intake there is a third nipple?? i dont know what it would be for because the oem only has 2 on the one side, so i just capped the third nipple off.

When i give it some gas and the turbo spools a little bit and let off the car bucks and wants to stall out just as if you were to have an open vent without a gm maf? Any ideas on why this could be happening? Does the third nipple need to go to something?

The 3rd nipple is for the stock bcs if it's the one that points towards the front of the car.

Make sure you plugged your MAF back in.

Try to switching the back to stock to see if it works. If not you have a different problem.

The factory intake pipe actually does have 3 nipples. In addition to the nipples for the EVAP and crank case breather located on the side of the pipe, there is also a very small one for the stock boost control solenoid as Chris pointed out.

I didn't see any mention of an aftermarket boost controller in your profile. Is your waste gate still connected to the factory BCS? If so, what is the 2nd nipple of the solenoid connected to?

Ive been really busy and havent had time to update my profile sorry guys but yes i have a boost controller now everything worked fine before i put the intake on is it possible that im leaking somewhere in the intake and its causing a miss read?

Its just a pipe, so go over it again, make sure all clamps are tight, all vacuum sources are connected/capped where need be, MAF is plugged in, etc. Its probably something simple.

I haven't seen it first hand but I would imagine that if your pulling in unmetered air somewhere between the MAS and turbo then it could lean you out and potentially cause issues. But as 1990AWD implied, there's only so many places that a short section of pipe could potentially leak so it should be very easy to check.

When you had it off did you by any chance stuff a paper towel, etc. into the turbo inlet or something and then forget about it? I've seen it happen. LOL

Exactly my thoughts, Its like 20 inches of piping in plain sight with three taps off it, a MAS connection, and a turbo inlet connection. It takes 10 min tops to remove the entire assembly.

I have no idea why you haven't solved this yet.

As a previous poster suggested, re-install your factory set-up and check it out.

Maybe you damaged your MAS, or have a leak where it bolts up.

any word on said issue? its been 2 days LOL.

I would also suggest installing the stock intake and seeing if you have the same issue. It will keep the guessing down on what you should do. Maybe its not your intake..check it out and see what happens.

Ya i got it, it was leaking around the maf and thats what was causing the stalling.. LOL an easy fix just needed to get in and check it out sorry for not changing the thread to solved ive been flooded with homework the semester is almost over LOL
