I bought a head-set when I built the head couple years back with NO problems. Have a full gasket set going in my motor build. Both were eBay-style like that.

I've never used the head gasket though, went with the dealer, and now a Cometic

An oilpan/valve cover gaskets is usually "a gasket is a gasket" The headgasket and valve seals, i would be skeptical about. How much is the Felpro gasket set from your local parts stores? Than you could have it right then. Their valve seals are fine and i've had good personal success with the headgaskets.

i know it sucks bro but i think you should spend the 115 and get the full gasket set from your local parts store. It is indeed true you get what you pay for and I for one sleep better when i use atleast a felpro set. its more money but the quality level is a huge difference. plus they give you EVERYTHING you are going to need and run into. Im doing my full head gasket set today and it comes with everything from the throttle body to new o rings for my injectors.

I buy a lot of gaskets from eBay vendor Mizumo Auto. I wouldn't trust their graphite composite head gaskets with boost, but their MLS gaskets are identical in thickness and design to a Cometic MLS.

In all honesty, the last build I did a customer brought his own Top Line full gasket set, and I wasn't impressed at all. Their oil pump / front plate gaskets were weak and would tear VERY easily; the front crank seal in his set didn't even fit the crank tightly around the outer lip. Half the gaskets I used on that build came from leftover Evergreen kits bought from Mizumo Auto.

I've ran their composite headgasket for one year at 22psi and this, without arp head stud.
Never had any problems with it. Fire rings are the same as an oem HG , and plus they even have '' glue'' at all the water pass. I personnally would buy this kit again and won't be afraid of running it with more boost and arp studs.

I'll second this completely. I've built 5 engines now using these gaskets and they have been great. I've used the compisite head gasket as spare parts for Rally events, and used 2 of them to get cars through events. I think with a proper install they are good to 350 hp with ARP studs. The MLS are everything the Mitsu part is without the price. The water pumps, front cover, oil pumps and timing belt kits from Mizumo are also very nice.

Wow, a lot of good information here. I'm really glad I asked first, now I'm going to feel comfortable with what I'm buying instead of blindly throwing my money hoping it doesn't go in the trash.

I already paid for the ebay kit in my first post but it hasn't shipped so I'm going to ask for a refund and order this kit:

eBay Motors: 93-98 2.0 Eagle Talon 4G63/T 2ndGen MLS Full Gasket Set (item 220329021587 end time May-11-09 17:28:58 PDT)

Thanks a lot guys, I let you know how everything turns out.
