So I'm looking for things I can do to help my performance of my car. I will eventually trying to change my eclipse from manual to 5 speed with changing engine to perform with a turbo. For the time I'm looking for anything that most people miss

Of course I know the difference between the two. I meant to say automatic. Unfortunately I am no where close to experienced like you, which is why I am out reaching my support I someone to help. I have a lot of interest in my cars and other cars and not afraid to get my hands dirty. Since you read my other forum and didn't post and help I appreciate you reading it. Just a word to the wise no one like to be demeaned.

I wasn't trying to do anything. I told you to take care of the maintenance first ie: timing belt, water pump, etc.. and then look for the upgrade paths. I was even kind enough to go and edit the link right here for you, while I am doing this all on my phone I might add, trying to give you some good advice. As far as the other thread goes, I strongly suggest getting some kind of manual for your car.

Edit: Here are free service manuals for our cars www.symtechlabs.com/downloads/dl.php . All you have to do is email them to get a download key. Make sure you get the ones for your year.

We'll I thought I had got all that. I have done plugs (Ngk copper) was told those would work best for the car with that motor. I have the plug wires replaced, ran a obd2 test makin sure no codes where throwing and nothing. Alternator is fine, also got the belt replaced a month ago. I just upgraded the rotors and the brakes. The guy swears when I got the vehicle at like 97k miles, that he had the timing belt replaced, I believe the guy was not fibbing, however I have no idea how to check. I didn't know of any things that should be checked, feel free to throw any. Should I be looking at my waterpump? I thought when they go bad anitifreeze will start to leak. Also thank you for the manual. When I get home I will download the manual to my computer. I am also on my phone. Which is why grammar and punctuation isn't that important.
