You have the freedom to do whatever you want, but when people post a link to a video made by EA where the bash on a "sport coupe-ay" and not a DSM and everyone gets in an uproar over that and somehow construes that EA hates DSMs or is directly bashing them, that is insanity. You can go on the news and spew whatever crap you want, but if it's not true you will look like an ass. I don't know what the TSA's actions of late has to do with me saying people are insane for going ape-shit over this commercial.

If I scoff or laugh it is because no one has put forth any evidence as to where in that video EA bashes a DSM. You all look like a bunch of schizo mental patients thinking that EA bashed the DSM platform. If you were presented with a DSM and an exotic car and you choose to drive the DSM then you are insane. Period. Why don't you all write a bunch of BS and try to make DSM a religion, because what you are making this sound like is that owning a DSM and being into them is a religion or belief system. Each time the two guys try and pass the car off to the other with a snide remark, it is a shot at the car portrayed in the commercial. That car portrayed is a DSM. Therefore, if you can still follow me, each snide remark is directed at that DSM. Simple.

It would be directed at a DSM if they would have never said "sport coupe-ay," but they did say that, therefore the insult is directed at "sport coupes" (whatever that is) instead of a DSM.

They still used a DSM as their "sports coupe-ay". So it was directed at the DSM. The sports coupe-ay remark was another shot in and of itself. Mockingly comparing our car to newer, cooler and faster coupes. As if our outdated coupe didn't deserve the coupe title any longer...

Everyone in here was acting grown up about this until you and a few others came in and tried diluting our point by comparing our cars to lambos... that's insane and unnecessary.

DSMs may only be cars to you but they are more than that to us. My DSM was my first true love (in car form) and I'll be damned if I don't stick up for it.

EA couldn't lawyer up and come after us for exercising our right of free speech and to peaceably assemble. We are not going out of our way to harm EA.

Because the video is low-budget. It is clearly the actor's car. Get over what these cars are. Yes they can do incredible things, but they are a garbage car in stock form. In stock form they could not compete one bit with any car that will be included in that game. That is their point. That is my point. Anyone with any class would not pull a DSM up to a valet, too.

Anyone can sue for anything, and win with enough money or previous leverage, which EA has. I would go around suing people for being such babies.

I have valet parked mine a number of times! And was completely Proud doing it!

Just because a cause is a a quater of a million dollas doesn't mean its fast!
Yes they are quick.. but ive seen cars on here that could and would take out high end cars like that!

There's no replacement for displacement/cylinders. I may not drive but I do anyway because I believe it is a right and not a privilege. I would also refuse to valet park a DSM if I was a valet.

well after reviewing some more of the recent threads pertaining to this topic you sir are a jack a$$ and nothing short of it. and rolling up to a valet with my car.. damn skippy I would. In my opinion people are getting more 'upset', for lack of words that cannot be posted, over what you are saying more so than the comercial. you have a dsm yet you dont take pride in it. May I ask you why you blatantly dont take pride in your car?

I don't take pride in my car because it is just a car. If it disappeared I would get another car or DSM. If a loved one died you can't replace them. You are treating a car like it is an emotional object. Good for you. I don't buy into that materialistic crap. I realize it is just a car and my life would go on just fine with another car. A car is something most people need. I don't like working on them anymore, but I do, just to keep it alive, and not mod it. I will never take part in racing of any form (street or track.) I have better things to do with MY time. There's more to life than cars and worrying about companies bashing them. No matter what area of interest you have, someone will always bash it. Go to a sporting event, surely there will be people there who will bash the team you like. If you are a Philadelphia sports fan then you will probably end up committing murder over something like that. The rest of the world could care less.
