Exactly. Any petition, or mockery of EA games won't get anywhere....and its funny how everyone gets riled up over their choice to exclude a car that is no longer a "current" vehicle. I can't even remember the last time a Talon/Eclipse was in a magazine.

Count me in, but ill say one thing. Its not our loss, its there's, DSM's have a bigger racing heritage than probably 90% of the cars on that game, to not include DSM's into that game is just stupid. Maybe now DSM's won't get riced as much and we'll have more cars to set more records in. I wonder if they know that there's a connection between DSM's, EVO's and VR-4's, so its not just us that they lost. I don buy there games, seeing how cheesy they are.

Your first point was about them using a 10+ year old car to define something not worth modding or representing as a performance vehicle.

Of course I can't compare DSM's to Skylines and Supras when talking about stock performance; what I did was comparing them in terms of generations, era's or years etc.

So that means they should exclude muscle cars like the challenger and the chevelle too? Those are nowhere near "current". Same with the Corrolla AE86. But I bet that's in there.

this is a list of people boycotting there product, if you think they wont take this seriously, then either you dont know much about public relations, or you dont think EA does.

It's a dumb reason to boycott their products, and to truly boycott something is not a petition it would be NOT buying their products. Actions speak louder than words. A couple hundred people making a list out of total people buying their products is what will make them brush it off as a joke. The Hot Pursuit line of games has never been about modified cars, it's about stock cars. In what line of thinking is a stock teal DSM as equal in class to luxury and real sports cars? You all will be lucky to even get a reply from EA.

Frankly, I think you're missing the point of this anyways. The people signing are stating they won't be buying it, so your argument that we aren't truly boycotting is moot anyways.

As for getting a reply from EA ... up until recently I tested games for them. I can assure you, they do pay attention to marketing flops.

AHHH, my comparison of a ten year old vehicle wasn't that great then.....but still, its not a current vehicle, its never been considered a "dream" car to most people....and overall, most people that aren't enthusiasts don't give DSMs a second glance. Its just not something to get riled up over.....

I'm sure the DSM audience isn't who EA is targeting with this game anyways....I'll for sure be giving it a look I love the NFS series....

What are you doing next, boycotting grand theft auto because they just have a shitty non turbo vehicle in the line up? I've never seen an Eagle Talon TSI AWD in that game....who cares?

I thought the commercial was hysterical. They did use a clean ass stocker talon at least instead of all the busted up Eclipses/Talons I see everyday.
