Does anyone know if having injector harness 3 for the greddy e-manage ultimate helps at all with the way the car runs?
I have searched around and only been able to find people saying that it clears check engine lights on the injector lines (which i haven't been seeing)
I did come across a post that mentioned that some idle issues were resolved by running this adapter.... but I don't think it was about a 4g63 motor.
The reason I ask is that even using all stock parameters coming from the ecu, I am seeing a terribly unstable idle (600-900 rpm waves)
I had taken the intake temperature adjustment out of the mix and only use the water temp signal and it seems to have helped, but its still a little rough. My wideband is usually over 14 and likes to peg out on the leaner side more often than not, which is no good.
I'm new to tuning so any pointers would be great, but I would like to clear up whether or not I actually need this harness to run properly, or not..
And yes, I have read up on the dsmlink, but I have the greddy in my hands now and its just not cost effective to switch it all over to dsmlink, especially since I have a non eprom ecu.
Let me know what you guys think! or if you have any input to help me stabilize the rpms that would be great!
