You really need to stop thinking that you know everything without knowing all the facts.

You can dog my 300hp all you want.. point being is that there aren't many 420a's with 300hp to the ground. Im probably in the top 3 to 5 people on this board with this much hp on a 420a.

You need to sit back for a minute and realize the acomplishment rather than belittling it.

Most the star boys with the Stage II kit and up are running over 300hp. Technically it would still be sponsored if you have professional installers helping do the work to your car even if it is off hours. Besides you said a while back that you were sponsored by them. Thats neither here nor there though.

Jason: No I am keeping the 20G and running the BB turbo this spring with the 6bolt :) BTW I have a question for you. You said you were running a 75 shot in the GSX. How is the small rods holding up to that?

Most star kids are not running over 300hp mike.. just cause you see 1 or 2 on here doesn't mean anything. go over to 2gnt.com, browse around.. not many people have crossed the 300hp threshold.

as far as the sponsorship crap.. if you want to say that i was, then fine.. but nobody was a professional. It was actually friends helping friends in that place...

We were there for the love of the cars and the excitement of the track, nothing more. Not everyone is pigheaded like you and rich.

1. You win your the king of 2GNT.com, now jump off the dyno and come to gateway and run the quarter. With the hp your throwing down you should be in the mid 12s.

2. When the shop owner and the shop mechanic help with the build and install of the engine and do it for free I would call that sponsored. It would be like Bill Hahn building a car for his neighbors kid and saying it was not sponsored.

3. You should say "love of the cars and the excitement of the dyno". You have never run a 1/4 mile with that car. I'm not making fun but with that hp you should be running 12s so why not go and find out.

You have a nice car and I'm sure it pulls a mean dyno, but you should give SOME credit to the shop and the people who helped you get it in.

Congratulations on your numbers James. Absolutely sick :thumb: I must say that motivates the hell out of me to build my engine up now.

Don't let any of this message-board-drama crap bother you. It's a longer and harder road turboing a car that was originally meant to be N/T than most onlookers think. If it seems like James has changed his story at all - that's probably because it actually has changed. In fifteen minutes I have gone from thinking my engine blew up to finding out it was just the STAR MAP sensor voltage regulator getting disconnected.

Lock this thread up and throw away the damned key.

Holy cow! You run a 13.33 with a Star Stage II and stock internals??? Thats sweet man. Did you shave any weight or use slicks to do that?

I did give ccredit to them and I do every time i see them and everyone knows that Josh at CIA helped with everything. The shop owner didn't do shit.. Oh ok.. he gave me a place to work on the car.. big deal, Josh would have let me if the owner didn't.

See here is the problem with you, joe, rich and zach.... If you help someone with something.. you want all the credit and respect for doing nothing more than helping a friend.. When in reality, true friends and true automobile enthusiasts don't want credit and respect for working on a car, they just want to see it run and be proud of the work they do. It has nothing to do with making sure you get the thanx you deserve.

Thats exactly how Josh feels about his work. I thank him all the time.. and he says.. "for what?, you did all the work, this was your project, I was just helpin out, my thanx comes from seeing the car pull 329 on the dyno".

You need to learn a thing or two about being into cars and the real people that work on them and drive them. Right now, youre stuck in some fantasy land...... :barf:

I will be at gateway on Tuesday night if they are having test and tune and im bringing a couple of axles with me ;)

1. Maybe we differ in opinion on this but I do consider a shop to be a VERY big resource. If someone gave me thier shop to do my work on my car that means they were giving up that space that they could be using on another paying customer. I have no question about the fact that Josh is a cool and modest guy and I could see him saying something like that.

2. You compare me to the other guys but the thing is I never helped with the install of the car. I was actually busy that weekend and I apologized on more than one occasion for not being there. As far as issues about who gets credit for what well that is an OLD problem with you and the other guys. They got mad because they FELT like you were taking all the credit. Whether or not that is true is really none of my business because that is between you and them. You try to put me in the same boat as them but I have not seen or talked to Rich in over two months and I rarely talk to joe anymore. Yes they are my friends but we are different people. You put me in the same boat as them because I chose thier side over yours.

3. Don't act like just because you hang out at the local rice shop down there that you are this authority on tuning. There are several REAL tuners up here and I know what the reality of the matter is. REAL tuners don't hang on a dyno and talk shit all day long. They actually show up to events and hang out. If I'm living in such a fantasy land then explain to me why you have over 10K in parts on your car and I have less than 3K on mine and I run 2 tenths faster than you with the stock T25 than you did when you had 240hp and a 20G? Also true enthusiests actually do thier own work on thier own car and if they don't YES they do give credit to the people that made thier machine possible. Thats just common curtousy.

As far as you showing up to gateway I'll believe it when I see it. See James this attitude you have is exactly why most the folks on the board around here wont even give you the time of day. You have Rich Joe and Zach help you with your turbo install and then when you did not need them anymore you shit all over them and moved on to your CIA buddies. Now your shitting on Chris and his shop by saying that he did not do anything for your car when he clearly did. How long is it before you shit all over Josh and move on? Just asking because there seems to be a clear pattern here.

One last thing James: If you bust 12s at gateway tuesday I'll be the first to give you gratz on here complete with no shit talking. You have the money in the car and the setup to do it so now the only thing left is to lay down the 12s. If you do you'll be the first 420a on here to do it.

The post that brought this back from its resting place was not even relavant. Wish I would have seen this upon it upbringing from the dead. I wouldnt have let this bs go any further.
