I have a fresh rebuilt block .020 over with stock head except for 272's cams, after market exhaust manifold (just for looks) and what i believe to be a fake 16g turbo from ebay. i have a 1000 and looking to have a reliable everyday car.

Yes there is a difference in vvti but not by much.

300 91-93 320-94-99. These are NOT AWHP. These are Crank HP. also, heavier yes, but these cars do handle quite nicely, especially the 4ws and stock ECS control and Aero front and rear wing from 91-96.

Also kown as vtec, i believe only the 97-98 supra had the vvti. but the turbos on the the 93-96 were better than the 97-98 models i forget its something like that but for sure only the 97-98 models have vvti but if im wrong someone can correct and put this on this forum for me saying something stupid if its wrong haha.

The vvti turbo models were only offered in japan though as far as i read haha, we got the non-turbo vvti motors though ^_^

working at auto zone had a kid come in and tell my he had a 91 eclipse 1.8 awd turbo with a 35r. now im not an expert. im on my second dsm, so i said dont you mean 2.0 turbo if its awd. he was convinced that he had a 1.8l turbo awd eclipse. then he insisted on telling me that ngk copper plugs are shitty and he wanted bosh platimum4+ plugs.

One question have a 91 talon tsi (5 speed) and motor is junk I found one out of 93 but it is a 7 bolt auto will this work in this car? I also have a 95 2.0 turbo will this one fit in the 91? What would it take to get either one to work?

This isn't the thread that you should be asking this question, but since your new I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Use the engine from the '93. It will be bolt in whereas the '95 will not.
