Dumbest things you've heard a DSMer say? :)

Well this one time this guy said he was going to put his motor in a rabbit not with 2 doors but a ugly one with 4 doors. All because a cop hit his dsm and they did not want to pay for it.

Not a DSMer, but I feel its stupid enough to be a worthy entry into bringing this one back..

A kid in my town has a 90's Dodge Avenger.
Some of us car guys were BSing down at the park one night. Had two DSMs. A WRX. A couple 240s. And a few Mustangs gathered around. This kid pulls up and hangs out with us. Then tells us he is going to take a TT V6 from a 3KGT VR4 and the rear subframe/diff from an awd DSM and make an AWD TT Avenger...

I was pumping gas in my car when I heard this horrible whining sound.
I turned my head and say this blue focus with a wing and an ugly as bodykit.
I see a fmic on the car so i go up to the guy and ask him what is under the hood. I see his buddy trying not to laugh so the guy gets out of his car, pops the hood and points to his alternator and say" I have a turbo" so then I notice his fmic is ziptied in the car and the guy goes and pays for his gas.
I go up to his buddy and ask if the kid was serious and his buddy replies "well he thinks i turboed it for him cause he gave me $120 to turbo it and i figure if he is dumb enough to believe that he will get a turbo for 120 i might as well give him my spare intercooler and tell him the alternator is the turbo".
Then I ask him what the terrible sound was and he looks at me and says "Oh I put holes in the muffler threw a tip on and told him he had a highperformance exhaust too but don't tell him".
So on my way home i was just laughing to my self about how many people he probably told that his car was turboed.

. in my old jeep, the 4wd did not work so i had fun peeling out in that too haha. but fwd is better even over speed bumps! i just got my car running again today, it was the ecu, im so happy! have not drove it for 12 days

I recently asked a guy who was rebuilding his motor what kind of head gasket he's going with and he said he doesn't need a head gasket because he's getting the head machined.

There was also a guy with a 1g NT who responded to a youtube video who said the 4g63 is a POS and that the 4g37 is a much better motor because you can build it with Porsche internals.

First: A friend of mine bought a 98 GSX for 9k. It had a bad starter, so he replaced the starter. When it still wouldn't start he sold it to me for $1500 (three weeks after he bought it). Then while looking over the car I noticed the started wasn't bolted up. I bolted it up and started the car no problem.

Second: Same guy bet me $200 that he could take the body off the frame of my new eclipse with 27 bolts? I collected $200 a few hours later, after he "searched" for the 27 bolts.

Third: (Not a DSM, but still funny). Talking to a guy today who said he had a 03 Cobra with a Kenne Bell 3.4L Supercharger making 1400hp (Kenne Bell's biggest supercharger for that car is a 2.8L)
