when i test drove it the kid said when you shift did you feel that pull to the right? that's the awd kicking in
and i was thinkin. yeah yeah.. what's pullin?
so i take a look under the car NO DRIVESHAFT!
so i start asking about handling in the snow
he says oh it's great if you shift right you wont spin the tires at all
i told him there is no driveshaft going to the rearend he's beed driving a fwd car
he said are you sure your looking at the right thing? maybe it's hidden
So I bought it and laugh at that kid everytime I look at the car

there is a guy in my town with a 2g 420a car that "is turbo charged" that pipes me every time I go by the tool.

I was told that he was going to find me and spank my ass at the track as I laughed and told him to bring his pos and I will race him on my bike.

I have a few stories that are hilarious.

First: A friend of mine bought a 98 GSX for 9k. It had a bad starter, so he replaced the starter. When it still wouldn't start he sold it to me for $1500 (three weeks after he bought it). Then while looking over the car I noticed the started wasn't bolted up. I bolted it up and started the car no problem.

He bought it for 9K then sold it to you because he couldn't get it started for 1.5K umm.... I think your leaving something outta this story. I think maybe you (or someone) convinced him that it needed a new motor... that or he's just incredibly stupid

No, he sincerely just wanted the car gone. I offered him what i thought was a b/s offer and he acccepted it. Dude isn't very bright. He recently bought a GST which is stock other that a FWIC and Injen intake...oh and a "sweet" paint job. He'll sware he had it dyno'd and it read 351whp. He was taking sh@# one night so we ran from a dig...his idea...and I ran away from him all night long. He said he lost ### he wasn't trying????

i was just browsing craigslist and came across a 94 and this is the info copied from the site.

1994 Eagle Talon i don't know if it's tsi or esi since it doesn't say it anywhere on the car and i don't have the manual!
The Car has about 176000 original miles! The Car drives fine! It has a custom exhaust on it!
I believe the car is a turbo since it has a power button inside the car but i'm not sure. It's a 4cylinder engine so it's not a very powerfull car ( Awesome on Gas)

So yesterday I took my talon up the road to davenport and cruised with the for sale tags in the window and Stopped at a local hangout spot and after everyone looked and asked some retard asked me why I dont put a 420a in my car. He also told me that the 420a could handle 30psi of boost on a gt35r and over 300 shot of nitrous on stock motor.

As I stared at him with udder disbelive that this dumb ass said that he said: "you dont belive me?"

I just totally owned him in front of his "team torque" members and made him leave in his turd.

It was great I went from being an outsider to one of the guys in a 2 min span.

He also told me with my mods that I would be lucky to hit the 14's...

That I need to fix my car because it idles bad (cams)

my wide band isn't right because it displays numbers instead of the light show...

Oh his buddy had a del sol that looked real nice that he did a 18b? swap and had his ebay turbo kit in the trunk. I looked at his turbo and laughed my ass off. It was brand new and had some real serious shaft play in and out up and down.

There was a kid there in a 4 door focus that was riced out that said he had $100 dollars that said he would beat any car.

These people are retarted. Thats why I dont like bringing my car out anymore.

I haven't been to the track yet this year. The local track (cordova) is a nice long detour for me since the i80 east bound lanes on the bridge are closed. So I dont really feel like going up to midnight mayhem to deal with idiots in thier moms civic.

But yes this kid has been talking serious crap to me and I just laugh it off. I'm not the type to fall for peer pressure and his childish antics wont make me change.

If hes lucky there is a guy here in town thats looking at my car with a couple from other places maybe he can race some newb and they wax him in a car they know nothing about.

I saw a guy riding around with a cage in his (slow) car wrapped in foam. I took a peek under the foam and it was PVC.

Back on subject though. Yesterday I was helping a friend with his 3000gt VR4 and another guy was out there who owned a 2g TSI before. The other guy asked me "You got any performance parts layin around? Because a friend of mine just got a 1g. He's swapping a 2g head on it because of the bigger ports.ohdamn He's also going to get the bigger turbo off a 2g." He went on later to say that the 1g exhaust manifold was better than the 2g so his friend is going to keep his and port it out. As if that wasn't enough he told the guy with the VR4 "whatever you do don't get the NGK plugs. They'll make your car run like crap. You need to go with a platinum plug or iridium". The sad part is he was 100% serious the whole time.
