I agree to a point. I had a guy I was trying to explain COP to and why it wasn't a good idea without a hotbox. He said, "But what about the guys who run it without a hotbox?". I told him the guys with COP that are not running a hotbox are just running it for bling because compared to your stock ignition setup the COP is a downgrade without a hotbox and in my opinion it is stupid. He then asked, "So you think Shep is stupid? Who are you to say that someone running so fast is stupid?"

So this dude I work with (Cliff) has an 89 IROC-Z Convertible (it's bondo'd, has holes all over the rag top, jacked up hood, and an autograph from Hector from The Fast and The Furious), he's adamant that his car has the L98 350, when in fact convertibles only came with the LB9 305. He's also convinced that his "350" came from the factory with 290bhp. He claims his ram-air and K&N filter gives him another 25hp. The other day he told me that he has full 4in exhaust (it's 3in muffler back), I replied "I didn't know GM made a diesel camaro" haha. He thinks his piece of garbage is worth $21k.

So I walk into my new local Vatozone, looking for an 02 sensor for my glowshit wb I forgot I had. Now I'm about 90% sure that the sensor they have will not fit the WB. But its worth a shot.

I walk in and the guy comes up to help, and I tell him I'm looking for an 02 sensor pre cat for my WB. He asks me what is it? (The WB guage) So I explain the purpose of the WB and how its monitors air;fuel ratio and that I need it to help tune car. This guy is baffeled and calls another guy thats "more knowledgeable" on tuner cars. Same reaction.

Him: What is it?
Me; 02 sensor for my wideband
Him: Whats a wideband?
me monitor a/f
Him; What do you need it for
me: to monitor my a/f ratio to help tune.
Him: I've never heard of that before for tuning.

So at this point, I'm getting irritated and ask to simply see the sensor for my car. He looks it up and swears to me that the spyder did not come with the turbo option. I got kinda upset with the guy, and told him to just get the sensor... Won't fit

So I try Disadvance Auto. This guy seemed to at least know what a wb was, and simply looked up the part like this was atypical request. He shows it to me and I pull out the guage and of course it won't fit. While inspecting the plug, he asks me if the car came stock with the gauge...

I'm sorry spyderman but a stock 02sensor is so not going to work for your WB. WB sensors output a 0-5v signal vs our crude narrowband sensors which output only a 0-1v signal. 0-5v scale obviously has a much higher resolution than a 0-1v scale hence the term wideband.
