Anyone ever make hard intake pipe from PVC?

Been trying to find a recirculating intake pipe for my '91 GST that actually has a vacuum nipple for for the crankcase vent.

I have that one but no vent, and I was a dumbass and powder coated the inside.

Please do not. PVC has a melting point around 175*F. Though that might seem high enough to survive, it is in a confined space and it can heat soak causing deformation, melting or gas emissions, all of which are toxic organic compounds.

Use a different material, PVC is not one I recommend inside an engine bay.

Pvc begins to loose rigidity Above 73*F.. At 100*F it's only 70% as strong. Melting point is 170*F.. & it can emit chlorine gas above 100*F. Not something I'd be safe with or recommend but it's possible.

You can get a metal intake on eBay for $80 with Couplers and filter. Way better option.

Never do anything on a car with pvc, it's a horrible idea for everything. Just wait for the part you looking for to pop up and do it right.

Why don't you have one welded on? I had to do that to my stm intake. Just had a bung weld in with a screw in barb fitting and it works great.

He powder coated the inside and outside. No impossible but not really feasible to weld anymore.

I too had a hard time finding. 1g intake, so I made mine out of a 3", 45* pipe, and a 45* 2.25"->3" silicone coupler. Had to alumaweld a recirculation fitting on, but it looks decent and fits good.

All in all I think I have about $30 into it. There's a pic in my build thread of it out and installed

I don't have access to aluminum welding really. And yea, I'd have to grind the paint off.

I found this injen pipe available, will this fit my 1g with stock maf? Looks a Lil bit long compared to the other ones I've seen.
