Duel feed gas tank?

Just wanted to know if this would work.

Have my stock gas tank and add another port to feed fuel (Having 2 ports to feed and 1 return) So having to run 2 feed lines and 1 inline fuel pump on each line and then a Y block to feed the rail?
 
Technicly? Yes. Would you benefit? No.

I assume you would have 2 seperate lines to the tank, and leading in. There would be no point to have two pumps on the single line into the tank.

Same goes for the rail. I hope the outlet of the Y adaptor is bigger than the two individual input lines. At that point you would have one huge line going into the tiny fuel rail.

BTW, All stock lines are good for ~500 WHP.
