New to DSMs got my first last week at the aurora auction and looking forward to driving my wife nuts playing with it. Allready pissed her off by wasting all day friday putting my amp and subs in it after they sat in my closet for 3 years hehe. Allready had my 10 year old daughter helping with it maybe I can keep her interested and give it to her in a few years, after I pick up another one.

Hey guys I just bought a 95 gsx automatic thats just about stock except for an ebay intake and exhaust (plan to replace)I plan on building the motor and swaping the tranny for a five speed eventually. I am new to all this stuff and am starting to see how big of a learning curve I'm facing haha. Anyways I got an issue with my driverside front end, every time i hit a bump the front end squeaks about three or four times after i hit the bump. i think its either the ball joints, the tie rod ends, or the suspension. Any ideas?!!

well for safety sake check the tie rods and ball joints first(i think oreilley's has them for a pretty good price IIRC.) but personally i'd be more willing to bet the shocks. it does this even on small bumps and it squeaks numerous times even then? like i said though start with tie rods and ball joints. if you lose your shocks eh it sucks but its still drivable. lose your rods or joints and it'll ruin your day right quick.

The ball joints have a recall on 2gs.
When my ball joint broke on my 2g Stanley motors fixed it for free.
Too bad we don't a have a Mitsubishi dealer anymore.
I doubt Morrison auto or who ever does the Mitsubishi now will honor it.
But it is worth a shot.

My roommate had a problem with his 2008 lancer and based off of what we heard from calling around the Infinity dealership is the only dealer in town that will work on mitsus

I lifted it up and checked the tie rods and ball joint and they were tight so that leads me to believe its my struts an springs. I am planning on putting some koni yellows and ground controls on it here in the next month or two and that should fix it but thanks for your input guys I appreciate it!
