I have a car alarm with a dual stage shock sensor, and sometimes the shock warning goes off for no reason, it mostly happens when its armed on my driveway. At first I thought it was just too sensitive, so I gave it the tap test (hit the bumper hard enough to break the window, and then again about half that to simulate someone running into it in a parking lot.) It seemed about right.

Any idea why my shock sensor would chirp for no good reason?
