ok, so yesterday, I drove my talon for the first time after rebuilding the topend on her, and she was doing great. then on the way back, she starts lugging in lower rpms, then picking up fine at higher revs. It was smoking horribly from the exhaust when I got her home. so today, I get in and crank her, and notice it is pouring fuel out of the exhaust. honestly not sure how it was idling. I swapped my stock injectors back in, changed global back, and still the same. I pulled the dtcs and came back with tc 0041; injector circuit malfunction. while im thinking its probably the injector transistor, im not sure where to find it to replace it, or even if that's what it is. also, if this seems to be the problem, will a 2g inj. trans. swap into a 1g? thanks for any help guys

Do you have a multimeter for checking voltage and whatnot? If you do, unplug your number 4 injector and with the key on but the engine not running test for voltage, It should be 0. Having a "noid light" would probably be easier. The transistors for the injectors are in the ecu and unless you have expert soldering skills then don't bother with it. That sounds a lot like what my 1g did and I just sent mine into ecm tuning to get fixed and have link v3 installed.
