dtc: front o2 malfunction... but I have a wideband?

this got me pretty confused.

SO this check engine light went on lastweek and I thought it was just a mistake so I cleared it(twice to double check). now it came back. front o2 malfunction.

But my question is how is this possible when I am using a wideband?

I have it set in the only O2 sensor in the car(front) and simulated the o2 using the wideband.(so im logging WB).

I drove the car about 1 month or so and this didnt happen. now it just showed up.

the wideband sensor is a bit old(like 2-3 years been through 3 different cars ) could it be a faulty or dying WB sensor?) it reads a/f no problem btw

Uncheck o2 on the DTC page.

If this just started happening, I'm wondering if the factory o2 is still connected but hanging somewhere out of the way.

is this normal? why hasnt it pop up before? ive driven it atleast a whole months worth and just pop up last week.

yes,
its simulated so I dont have an o2. if you mean its cycling in simulation then yes.

If it is cycling up and down then that's good. What's your wideband switch point set at? Maybe your o2 is going bad.

huh? I dont have an o2 sensor connected. I have a 1g which only have 1 o2 sensor.

Where is your wideband at? If its your wideband is your front and stock in the back you need to simulate it. Can you post a log?
