RRE sells a similiar kit for 800, but it uses a much smaller griffin core. For the same price DSS's kit has a much bigger core, but they don't say what brand it is or flow.

Search didn't show many threads about the DSS kit, wanted to hear opinions on it, or opinions on the RRE kit vs this. I'm looking to upgrade to a fmic before going w/ an evo3 16g.

I've seen that kit along w/ dejontool's, both are nice. My main reason for the top/bottom was my friend w/ his evo3 16g had great gains, and it still works well on his 50-trim. Plus the plumbing is alot easier.

850$ complete is hard to beat, but that endtank design doesn't look very good to me, but I"m still new to dsms. doesn't look like it flows very well.
