I had a Greddy kit for a couple months, it held up good but i wanted to get away from the tube/fin core and somone gave me a good price so i couldnt back down. If your getting one cheap then i'd say go for it. There is one thing i dont like about the kit though, is how the piping wraps up and around the top of the core then up through the fender well, dumbest idea for IC piping IMO.

I am on my second Greddy FMIC. The reason I used the greddy one in the first place is because it is c.a.r.b legal. My first one got stolen from me so, that is why I replaced it. I had no pleblems with it. It is way lighter than the other bar and plate intercooler I have. The piping route sucks but, hey its c.a.r.b legal right. But, if I were you since, you don't live in california, just do a custom set up with short route piping. But, if you ever go somewhere that is ruled by nazi's then get the greddy one.

It's a quality peice, but after a while you will just say why didnt i go with short route. not to mention unless you are looking for 500whp you can go with a smaller tank and i know my greedy completely blocks my radiator and makes my temps aboe 210 ewven with watter wetter and all that other crap.
