Whats up guys?? I just installed my DSS intercooler the other night. It uses a Griffin bar and plate core that is 24x6x2.75, and it is top bottom flow with .5 psi pressure drop. In addition, i installed my electric pusher fan. Here are the pics.... sorry, its kind of dark.

Here is a picture of the Revcore Electric pusher fan, and the power steering cooling line that has been bent around the oil cooler to clear the intercooler.

Here is the intercooler intalled on the car and bolted in.

Here is the piping... i painted it black so it wouldn't be too noticable. The piping diameter is 2.25"

I had to take a plasma cutter to the bumper in order to clear the bumper to fit. I really didn't want to drive around town in hopes of someday using my intercooler as a bumper!

I just noticed you have a 60-1. Dont tell me you were running that thing on a sidemount before!! OMG

Car looks very clean. Hope that intercooler works out for you. I was looking at a top to bottom flow I/C too.

Everytime I see a shiny white 1G, I wanna kick myself for picking up a red and black one. I should have waited to find a white one. Anyway, nice car. I'm gonna go clean up in the bathroom now.

Looks tight! No really, it looks like a real tight fit between the radiator, fan, oil cooler and just installed intercooler. I know that you just installed it so you probably haven't had time to notice any cooling issues, pertaining to the radiator but if you do find that things are running a litter higher than usual please report them. Another thing, have you thought of relocating the oil cooler to the driver side inlet of the front fascia? But i guess you wouldn't need to if there is no cooling problem to start, just an idea. I really like the push style fan you have in front of the radiator, that has to help flow through the intercooler as well, cooling two birds with one stone.

Anyway the car looks great, very sleepy, and make sure you get back to us as far as performance increases.

LOL!! No way! Thats an 18g on the car right now... I bought the 60-1 but it isn't installed yet. I was waiting to put the intercooler on. Now I'm waiting for my manifold and turbine housing to return from getting Jet coated! :thumb:

With the intercooler installed, there was only a .5 psi pressure drop! It made a huge difference in that my turbo now gets a full 18psi at 3000 rpm as compared to the original 4000. I also noticed that the car is much faster now. The throttle is much more responsive, and i can't seem to heat soak this intercooler! In terms of cooling issues, i havn't had any yet. I got an electric pusher fan that flows 1,200 cfm through a fluidine, so I really havn't noticed any diffference in water temp. Anyway, I really can't complain. It made a huge difference in performance. What do you guys think about the idea of paining it flat black to mask its existance???

I would say definately paint it black! There's no better way to make it look like a complete sleeper. It will just look like your radiator. :thumb:

How does the intercooler mount on the bottom of the car?
Did you have to drill a hole for the top mounting point or did you use the lower hood latch surport bolt?
I just got the kit having little trouble installing it.
