I just got a pair of HKS 272 cams installed and as I was driving the car home it sounded like something exploded in the engine. there was a very loud tiking sound from the head. My mechanic who did the cams said the lifters collapsed. when he did the cams he also put in a jdm motor so Im wondering whose fault it is and if I should have to pay for the lifters. What do U guys think. Also, do you think this would have happened if I used the stock cams?
