I know you could pay $50 to upgrade from v1 to v2. I imgine it will be the same or close to that to upgrade to v3 when it comes out and it will be well worth the $50 IMO.

Although the deployment of v3 seems as mysterious as Bush's Iraq exit strategy , the number of improvements to functionality/datalogging capabilities is gonna make EMS users wanna trade up

As mentioned above, the current version is very robust and, as with all new tuning devices, will take some uptime to understand. IMO, pick it up now, learn, tune, go fast and enjoy. And when v3 comes out, you'll pay a small upgrade charge and will already be well ahead of the curve (not to mention first on the list for distribution)

That's what the last upgrade cost, this one is definitely going to be more expensive. There's new hardware as well as new software. It's not just a few features added in like V2 was, it's a completely new Dsmlink,

New cables and new memory board. There hasn't been any information released about a price for the upgrade, anything you hear is speculation, but I can almost guarantee it's not going to be $50 like last time.

That's ok, $200 sounds fair to me. I love dsmlink and wish I went with that in a first place instead of a crappy afc/logger solution.

Where did you hear this? I check both major enhancement threads and didn't see anything on that. All that was mentioned was no need for the maf translator. Please enlighten us.

Alot of people went mafless a while back with the maftpro, especially the evo guys on evom.net they seem like its working super for them.
