I got sick of my safc, so I decided to get dsmlink v2. I'm just going to leave the safc installed in the car for when I sell it in the future. So, could I keep it hooked up, and somehow disable or bypass the safc, or ZERO it out.
OR
Do I have to disconnect the safc from the ECU entirely?

When the SAFC is zeroed out, does it pass the signal from the MAS right through it to the ECU, and not alter it at all? OR does it still do somthing else?

Any input is appreciated.

Why do you need to leave it in there for when you sell the car?? If it is no longer being used, then fully uninstall it and sell. If you feel the need to leave it mounted, then at least disconnect the wires from the ECU. If you're really not using it anymore, I'll give you $20 for it, LOL  :p :p

Before I sell the car, I will sell the DSMLINK seperate, and use the SAFC again. DSMLINK goes for $450-550 just for the EPROM chip and cable. Also, I don't want to take the SAFC out because it's mounted nicely in the visor.

So could I get away with zeroing it out? Or do I have to disconnect it?
