Alright guys, I just bought a 95 Talon tsi awd with a bunch of mods. I have reciepts for all the internals and machine work. I know I have a 20g turbo and a Greddy intercooler. I have a reciept for the injectors but it doesn't say how big they are, it just says N Pon injectors. Right now its all controlled by an Apexi SAFC. Anyways, I want to switch over to a dsm link with gm maf and want to know what you guys think. I also want some recommendations on where to get one or who to call. I know I need my injector size so I will pull one to find out what size they are. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well I know it ran on turbo blue racing fuel when it was tuned right but when the guy switched to premium he dumped the safc settings and just got it to run ok. It does run really rich and doesn't want to idle because of it. So I know the injectors are big.

What are the SAFC settings now? Even if it's a ballpark estimate, you can estimate the size on how much compensation was done. Oh, I would even go as far as saying the N Pon injectors may be 'nippon'? Either which way, it sounds like you're headed down the right direction in terms of knowledge, so definitely find out the exact size before you proceed with any tuning or fiddling. :thumb:

or 720cc because you can go up to 720's before having to run a stand alone

I wouldn't put a xx number on how large you can run with an SAFC. It's really all in the tune, fuel pressure, etc. but that's a whole 'nother can of worms in itself.

The stamp on the injectors is 750cc and the maf is completely stock. Now, whats the easiest way to remove the ecm and where should I send it? Do I run the stock maf or go with the GM 3.0 maf?
