Alright, let's try one more time.

There are two more possible dates: 10/31 and 11/01. I can't do 10/31, so let's shoot for 11/01. If that falls through, well, nobody can say we didn't try. :)

Sounds good Tom. My calendar is free that day and I get some more time to tune!

moneys already tight so if i send her to prime i should just put the for sale sign in the window, No i havent posted any logs, i have a 91-94 eprom and link outta my 93 that droped a valve, so im going to swap it into my 90, have everything to do just have not done it yet ###,, well im clueless how to tune. I visted ecm tuning and Tom and his partner (forgive me i cant remember his name for crap, sorry :ohdamn:) put a base set up in for me for what i have, but im not going to B.S, i know how to fix cars, not tune them!

Hey this is a dsmlink meet! I'm sure there will be some people there who can show you the ropes ;)

I think Dave is Tom's partner if I remember. I think he was the ECU guy that was in ExtremeMotorsports alot back in the day.
I just changed my trailer reservations again and put in for time off work again. Hope it doesn't rain. I'd really like to learn a little more about V3 and should i say "lite" a bit more before i take the plunge. This would be a good opportunity to learn a bit from the pros.

You can learn a lot about reading all of the info on their wiki page. Either that or download the application, grab a few logs from this forum, and start playing around. I know it's not nearly as nice as actually having it with a working car, but you can get a great head start.

I've looked at their whole site and kinda peeked at everything, but I didn't know you could interact with the log pages??

You can interact with the logs, but you won't necessarily see changes. You can see the SD table, the Direct Access tables, all the sliders for fuel, airflow, and timing, as well as the other options available.

What would be an awesome idea (but probably next to impossible) is to have a "virtual" car you could tune :)

I just downloaded their schedule.... it does appear they have test and tune this Sunday...

10/25 Sunday 11:00 am 12-5 pm Test & Tune - Open to All; OPDS

Right off their site. So how do we get a hold of them to confirm, I tried the hotline. IF this is true, any takers?

Yeah, we can't change again so soon. Too many people would miss out.

We'll have to shoot for 11/01 and cross our fingers.

If this falls through for some reason, we'll definitely do a track rental in the spring. I didn't realize there would be this much interest. Not sure how they do track rentals, though. It might have to be during the week...

Thomas, I think we should do a track rental anyway. Open it to dsm'ers first for the 20 that is required for a minum then open it to friends of those who are attending. (all money up front of course) I would shoot for a friday, if you wouldn't be able to get a weekend. Let me know if there is anything you like me to do.

Nah, I've arranged several rentals. I'd volunteer to organize an ECMLink rental. We usually require 50% to hold the spot. It's a wierd breakdown on how they charge per car. Weekends are fairly easy to get because its only a 4 hour rental. We were renting it from 8-12, and regular T&T starts at 12. Its a hot lap fest at rentals. If this is something we're gonna try and do, we should start getting a pretty good idea who's going around the first of the year. Track opens in March, but the weather is usually sketchy at best in the spring. We made 2 rain dates just to be safe.
