I am waiting for the DSMLink to arrive, and am wanting to begin installing my Innovate LM-1/LMA-3. To do so, it would be easiest if I had the ecu pin-out wiring info. for these items on this '95 tsi talon:
-airflow meter signal
-rpm/tach signal
-knock signal
-TPS signal
*does anyone have quick access to this info./viewable online(I do not have a fsm) or can somebody please take a few seconds and post it up for me.....
**My search results led me to this link..but it isn't listing any specific models or years?...

TIA

*Link me please?
I have been searching this site for weeks, finally broke down and signed in as a member to post this specific question....doing my best not to be an annoying newb!
Your help is appreciated/noted. :)

um, thanx? :notgood:
-I assume that you are posting the obvious link because you are not aware of the location of the information?
*I have been there searching all morning....no luck.
I hate to waste space, I am looking for a link to the information, as I have not found anything that is directly related to my question......the other piece of info. that would be helpful is if the wiring info. in the link I posted, does it apply to the '95 TSI?

I have DSMLink and the LM-1, you might want to wait on installing the LMA-3 until you get DSMLink.

DSMLink will log pretty much everything the LMA-3 can, I can't remember if it can log EGT's, but EGT's are useless if you can look at knock, injector duty cycle, and AFR.

I am ditching the LM-1 and getting a Zeitronix ZT-2, as it is smaller and easier to mount out of the way. The LM-1 works great, but it is too bulky to mount next to the ECU, plus I don't need a display to look at since DSMLink can log it.

IMO try to sell or return the LM-1/LMA-3 and get either a ZT-2, PLX, or Techedge. Also get a GM 3bar map sensor and you can log pretty much everything the LMA-3 will. Except of course all of the info would be in one, easy to read log.

Just giving you a heads up.

*Now we're talking...thanx!
I'm about to go through many more headaches...when the DSMLink gets here.
-I am assuming that tuning this in is going to be different than all my other experiences, figured the hardest part should be the tuning, not the install.
thank you again.

Tuning with it is a piece of cake. Get your global and dead time set, make a log to check for knock. Start removing fuel. Its cake :thumb:

*I'd suggest logging TPS, Knock, and MAP or MAS along with RPM with the LM-2.
The information on what the LM-2 can accept and how to deal with different types of inputs is located in the LM-2 users manual(downloadable from the innovate website).
-I have decided(in my application) to go ahead and use the LM-1 only and feed the analog output from the LM-1 to the dsmlink ecu(using an existing unused sensor input like MDP) for viewing logged info. on one screen.
