Hey there I had a quick question about break-in and DSMLink.... My mods are in my profile, but basically here is the major mods...

2.3L stroker
60-1 Turbo
SBR FMIC
FIC 750cc Injectors
DSMLink

I was wondering since the motor is a fresh build if I should follow "Moto-mans" advice in breaking in a engine but my concern is can I just use the global settings for break-in???? I will break her in at 10 pounds and do everything "Moto-man" says on his site.... Let me know if i'll be alright just to break her in....

And if you dont know who "Moto-man" is here is a link to his website:

Thanx in advance.....

Well I see that no one has an idea on what I asked.... I did post on the DSMLink forums, the only reply I got was that I should use the stock MAS which I don't have any more.... Am I gonna be OKAY or not with my GM MAFT or should I scrounge up the stock MAS?????

Wisemen any idea????????????????

Justin :D

if you keep her at 10 psi and just set your global and dead times then you should be ok. Don't spend alot of idle time setting your fuel trims. This will do the oposite to what the breakin proceedure states that you need to do... Just get her good enough to run decent. I suggest that you just run the recommended global and dead time for these injectors found in the dsmlink manual.

BTW. At 80% IDC 750s can only support around 460 crank horsepower, theoretically. According to the DSM_Tuning_Sheet_v2.1.xls found elseware on this forum.

60-1 + stroker = more potential than that by far... Several have put 500+ whp down with a 60-1 and stock bore and stroke... I'm not tryiny to flame or scare you. This is just a side note. Just keep an eye on your IDCs when you finally do break her in and begin tuning. But You're on stock cams so you'll probably be quite ok...for now.
