my question is will changing my internal wastegate actuator ( upgrading ) increase boost pressure capabilitys

kevin:talon:

You can change the spring on it if you want. Unless your trying to underboost the actuator, the stock actuator should be good w/ a MBC.. The MBC will actuate your wastegate based on what you set the mbc to, unless your pushing big psi as well.

thanks alot guys i just want my low boost setting on my evc to be alittle higher, i still wanna boost bigger, will it allow me to boost higher on my high boost setting if say my turbo will only boost 22 psi right now at its highest boost level will it increase with a better actuator

A lot of things will increase your boost. you have the evo III16g?
That actuator has made it 25psi pleanty of times.
So you have a mbc, and the highest you can set it is 22? Or is the highest your turbo can reach would be 22psi?
You could always consider an external mount wastegate..
But with the rest of your mods in your profile you should be pushing past 22 with a good tune.
