So, if I wanted a very stiff racing suspension for a 93 Eclipse to use on a track, how would I go about getting the right suspension parts for this car, and is it viable to swap parts from say, a Mitsubishi EVO, which I hear had the same chassis, or a Lotus Elise, which is 1.1 inches wider than my Eclipse?
Also, how would a regular eclipse with some turbo yielding about 400-500 horses perform on a track given that it had a nice suspension?
I'm asking this, because it seems everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY here, is interested in only straight line performance, while I'm more interested in cornering, and any speed times I spoke of was concerning an engine only.
So suspension wise, could some people help me out and tell me what options are available and how this car with 500 horses in it would perform against other 500 horsepower cars, like an LFA, a GTR and whatnot on a track like laguna seca, or the ring, given that the suspension has been upgraded, and the engine has been upgraded to 500 WHP, with minimal turbo lag, and everything possible has been done with weight distributions to make it handle right?
