I send my ECU to be checked to ECMTuning after verifying it was responsible for my problem by swapping another ecu in which started and ran my car everytime (move it in our of my shop). I was wrong they said my ECU is fine, no issues with it, yet with my ECU in the car it starts and stalls while another ECU continues to run the car fine. Both ECU's have DSMLink.

Could the DSMLink chip be the problem??

I see someone knows where I was going...

I should add, that if both ECUs can be talked to by the DSMLink client it's very unlikely that the DSMLink chips/boards are bad. A bad one wouldn't typically let the ECU boot.
