this shootout was my first, and will be making the trip every year, the people are really nice, i was with the dude with the primerd 1g, that had a blown headgasket. I noticed, dsmers are a different kind of people, they have good hearts, friendly. Its truely awesome to be around it. That 4g63 buggy, and the the rx7(FC) with the 4g63 in it, was amazing. But im deff paying for it now, with my sunburn. But it was deff worth it. DSMGRAVE YARD, those dudes are some funny people haha.

Who else is iminent of getting skin cancer from the sunburn?

I think I'm in stage five melanoma.

I'm glad to hear the racer who flipped in the sandpit is ok, did they mention it at all over the loudspeakers?
His name is Keith. He goes by PSI BOOST on my forum at mitsu-media.com
He is okay.

Heres my two pics sorry for poor quality, its a picture of a the picture the professional booth took, damn scanner acting up.

Nice to see N/T's were on the strip as well :thumb: Probably not without the expense of a few wise cracks from the boost junkies I'm sure LOL

Ha, thats cool. I was just cruising thru cleveland with my convoy and I see you, I like Hooray, another 2g! I remember seeing the mitsu-media sticker on the side of it at the shootout.

What happened to the blue EVO X that shifted from 3rd to 2nd and wasn't heard from the rest of the day?

Finally got some pictures uploaded, Here are a few of my favorites...

Okay this has been really bugging me the last few years. Can the NON DSM/Evo cars park in a different section of the lot?

The shootout would be the most badass sight if we had some type of organized parking setup. Like make signs ROW A /ROW B /C /and D

EVOs in A/ Eclipse/Talon 2g's in B / 1g's In C /
Misc Mitsu's and other mitsu powered cars in D

Then all the ford Tarus's and damn pickup trucks can have the whole rest of the freakin lot.

and what was with all those miscellaneous Lincoln town cars and mazda 3's going down the track?!?!?! I dont wanna see that shit...keep your lame ass lincoln town lease at home bro.

The black evo that blew up was AWD Motorsports. They punched a big fist sized hole in the side of their block and destroyed that pretty front-facing billet turbo as well.

I have tons. But this is definitely one of the best!

These photos are popping up all over the place! No photo's of the car...just the windows. Haha. I had a great time, my 3rd year in a row.

I highly agree.
Like the vipers and civic were a little excessive.

I took a few of the front end and a profile shot, but the rear window was definately a popular photo op. Glad to see the car in person :thumb:

Post em up. Although she's not much of a looker, 136k mile beast...Whole life in New England and last 2 years living in a city she's got more flaws then a hooker.

This years shootout was by far my favorite so far.

Just2asian. Great pics, the black Pwerks Evo with IL plates and the CF trunk is the car we trailered down. My buddy has been looking for pics or videos of his car all day, if you have any more please PM with a link he would really appreciate it!

I was at the campsite with the 4g63 buggy and the compound turbo set-up. Crazy to see in person.

This years shootout was a blast. I just wanna say thank you to club michigan dsm for having me and my friends hang out with them, and a special thank you for those that helped me out from west virginia in the milan travel park with the headgasket they left for me when they found out I drove to the shootout with a blown headgasket. I made it home with the car and it started to puke chocolate milk out of the overflow with 40 miles to go on the trip. Thank you for offering the tools and extra help to change the gasket in the parking lot if I wanted. As for the people that left the change on the wing of my car, You guys are awesome. I think my car got more attention this year as a primered car then some of the guys running tens. This community is awesome and the support i recieved for being so dedicated or dumb for the matter for driving the car 840 miles round trip with the blown headgaskrt and getting 32mpg was overwhelming.
Thank you guys.

anytime bro :D Your all welcome to hang next year too !
I think WMDSM beat MIDSM in beer pong :ohdamn: maybe next year !

It was good to meet all the new people and hang with the old friends. Why do we have to wait soooo damn long untill the next one ?

I am still feeling the effects from the sun today and i agree the anouncer really blew. Somone needed to tell him if he don't have anything to say.. STFU! No need to blab about nonsense.
