DSM newb with knock retard question

Hello dsm community, I recently traded my type r hatch for a tsi awd, when i got it i was made aware that if the battery were to die or removed i would have to reload the tune. Well last night i left my headlights on and had to do just that, after reloading it now it registers .4-.7 degrees of knock retard WOT. I find it odd that it would come up all of a sudden... anyhow is this anything to worry about? The "before" file is a log from one of the previous owners posts and the other is mine from today. Nothing has been changed as far as the motor goes so im a little lost but as long as its nothing to worry about ill be fine...my appologies if this sounds very newbish, thanks.

Dude, wheres your wideband??? Your afrest is so lean i dont know whats going on.
To your question, i dont think your knock count is damaging but damn, you have some work to do. Your idle is something like .31 gram/rev or around there. afrs are extremely lean and theres so little logged info i cant tell much more. I only looked at the new one, not the before.

Fill in your mod list. I dont know if your running a 2.4L or what cams, turbo, injectors

I updated my parts list, as far as the wideband I not sure why it doesn't show on the log. I haven't got too into the car yet, I've got a long ways to go I'm coming from mostly just boltons on hondas. Anyways at wot the wideband stays right at 10.3, I plan on taking it to english racing and getting it tuned soon rather then going the diy route but wanted to make sure I didn't need to worry about that knock in the mean time. Once again please forgive my newbishness haha

Your fine, we all started out newbish . Your knock isnt hurting anything and if your wb says your not running as lean as the afrest says, then your ok. I was just concerned about that. I didnt see a DA access when i opened it. *Just looked at your mods, you have v2, that explains it. Im not familiar with v2 so i may not be able to accurately answer your questions. But i do think you need to get your mafcomp and deadtimes right to lower that aerflow/rev to .24-.25. Atleast thats what they say on their website. That way your afr est and actual will line up a whole lot better. Good luck to you and feel free to ask all the questions you want. Ive asked some pretty silly ones, believe me . You have a killer setup btw, bet that thing pulls like all hell.

Umm YEA I agree with the turbo you won't go back to a honda. Well for somethings they are ok, like for my girlfriend haha. Kidding aside now...But I wanted to say when you do go to English Racing for that tune, take an extra $200 with ya and have them upgrade you to V3 at the same time. Then if your battery dies nothing will be lost. I felt so much better after I switched to V3.

Yea your tune definitely need some work. But you will be so happy with the car once its tuned. Going to feel like a hole new car!

You know, i just noticed you have aftermarket cams in your profile. Im personally confused on a certain topic: I have 272 int and exh and getting MY airflow/rev down to .25 is near impossible. Ive read it actually needs to be at .31/rev. This has been troubing cause ive yet to find an answer on it. If i bring mine down i have to go around -23% on the lower mafcomps and increase deadtime nearly twice to level out my combinedft! I could have been wrong in what i posted earlier. I now have some real hands on data .
