DSM/EVO Track Day Meet at Qualcomm Friday Nov. 4th 2011

Ok guys, here we go again. another Meet. lets see who will show/not show this time . But I wouldnt wanna miss this meet though. lots going down this time. this is no normal track day. LADSM called out LoyaBuilt and is supposed to be bringing some quick ass cars with them down here and personally want to take down the Loya built drag car AND Derricks GSX. and Derrick is Bringing all he's got with a bunch of BIG power DSM's and EVO's. my friend Josh want's a Rematch with Zak's Galant VR4 so that'll be happening aswell.

this gives everyone a WEEK to plan for this. hopefully lots will actually come

Time: Friday Nov. 4th 6pm

Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego CA All races take place on the west side parking lot portion of Qualcomm Stadium. Enter the main Qualcomm Stadium gate and follow the signage to the event site.


SPECTATOR FEE: $10.00 for Adults, Kids 5 and under, FREE. Racing $30.00

Unless I can borrow a tranny my car isnt gonna make it ! But the LOYA BUILT Blue GSX and friends will be there in full force,LETS GO SD TIME TO REPRESENT,looks like LA DSM been dying to run and we definitely wont turn down anything so lets get out there and have some fun.

Hell yeah! Maybe this will help "spark" the DSM community in SoCal since it seems almost dead the past year. Look forward to running at the track with the SD foks.

Hmmm...I'm interested but we'll see how far along I get my car tuned for next weekend. I'm hoping to squeeze 28-30 psi into the Talon from my fp3065 so I hope all goes well.

This sounds like fun. Too bad its such a long drive if Ima try to borrow a truck for that day to trailer the DSM. I've heard its hard to get traction at this track (as in not well prepped) anyone now if this is true?

theres 2 lanes, one is for street tires and the other is for cars running slicks. the track for the street tires is the one that hard to hook up on. the other track for the slicks is great, because they prep it with that stuff to make it even stickier

Get with Kris on here (Banishedmunk) or Corey (Gofer) they can get you a good tune before than. i hope you can get it ready by then because we need some quick cars to represent for san diego

I hear you on that one, luckily I was able to borrow a trailer. I still don't have a truck quite yet, but it shouldn't be a problem. I've heard this track is pretty shitty too... but maybe that was only from people running on street tires. Hopefully you can make it.

i would like to let it be known that this is all just fun and games. something to bring us all together and compete for fun, so that means no shit talking or fighting. we're all just trying to have a good time and earn a few braggin rights ok guys.

p.s. wash your cars because i'll be taking good pics of them and will create a picture thread on this event afterwards.

I need to button a few things up,a cracked exhaust manifold and a dying alternator....maybe a quick retune.My main focus is to have our shop car at a 110%.New clutch will be here tuesday for the beast and a lil more laughing gas never hurt anybody ;p We're gonna put on a nice show for our guests from LA, RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG SD vs LA ITS GOING DOWN BABY!
