DSM Columbia, SC meet

I would be intrested it meeting up with some of you but I am just very busy right now with work. I live in Spartanburg, I have a 98 rs and am in the process of turboing it right now. If you guys and gals are going to meet up again try to let me know in advance so I can ask off of work. Best Buy is pretty strict about taking days off so the sooner the better.
 
well whenever you want to meet up just post back and we will. we have a eclipse (94), a eclipse gsx (90) and a laser rs turbo (91). we are in the process of putting a new turbo on the laser which blew on saturday night. and we jsut finished changing out my turbo on the eclipse gsx. and putting a new sensor in, the 94 we jsut put a 5 speed transmission in, and lowered it. so we are all busy. but whenever you want to meet up. just say so.

I'm ready to meet up whenever now too, got everything running strong...just a few kinks with my throttle body wanting to stay wide open, but ill be working on that this weekend. But in the meantime been spanking these silly SRT-4's that are tryin to run the base while I've been out of commision. :thumb:
 
damn I wish I would have found this thread sooner....and I'm disappointed in you Ryan...you nor Brian called me to tall me yall were wanting to go cola. Well....I'm more than willing to meet up as soon as I get a new transfer case( and if anyone has a 22spline that they would sell....that would be ggrreeeaat, just pm me.) I didn't know there was this many dsm's around the Sumter area. Some of you guys around Sumter probably have seen my car (red 92laser cut up front bumper). If you're on shaw you might have seen one of my friends with the black b13 sentra se-r with the det swap. We are wanting to get some people together to go run at the Rock in the begging of Jan. I'm also going to be posting something about it on carolinadsms.com and try to get a good bit of dsm's from the Charlotte and possibly Raleigh area. Anyone interested let me know.

I'll be willing to go to Rockingham next month. I got a couple of problems to fix before I go, but shouldn't be a problem. Let me know what ya'll are going to do.

I have no idea. I have never been up there. I always go to Carolina Dragway in Jackon (down by Aiken, SC). That track is getting really bad though. I was having problems hooking up down there. I could come around the water box and drop the clutch before I staged and all four tires would break loose. Which is probably the reason that I only ran a 13.4. I have been wanting to go to Rockinham ever since then to see if I can't hit at least a high 12. Let me know what you find out.

yea there pretty darn nasty...the cruising scene up here is growing like mad, so its a good time each night
 
Rockingham this sunday anyone? Few things I need to mess with but I should be going. Also a good chance I'm going to be in columbia Sat night where everyone one else hangs out at.( I guess behind sonic....I've never been there)

My car is down, I got a huge boost leak at the throttle body. I am going to go pick up the gaskets today on my lunch break and fix it. If the leak is fixed, then I will throw everything back together and try to meet up with ya'll tomorrow night.

I definately can't make it to Rockingham this weekend. Running a little low on money since the holidays.
 
I herd The Rock is closed until Feb. I might have to call and ask.

It seems that most of you guys are in or near the columbia area. So you aren't very far at all from Myrtle Beach, probably around 2 hours. If you can try and make it out for this meet we are having in the end of Feb. Well, hopefully you see there.

I want all you guys to come out to the meet in MB, SC. So check out the thread i posted below. We are trying to make this meet as big as possible. The last two meets have been awesome and we just want it to get better. Later

Probably won't be able to make it this year, sounds like a good time though. I've got a Saturday morning class this semester and I want to save my sick days for Braggin Rights in April. You guys need to come down for that, there was a lack of DSM's down there last year. Only one really fast one (ran an 11.1 on drag radials)
 
The SC DSM Meet will be on WOODRUFF ROAD not HAYWOOD. The Hampton Inn is on WOODRUFF ROAD not HAYWOOD. I was curious so I literally drove around to find the Hampton Inn on Haywood. There isn't one.

The hotel is on WOODRUFF ROAD:talon:
 
Guys, I'm so sorry! I have lived in Greenville for about 10 years. I have NEVER seen a Hampton Inn on Haywood Road. It's actually kind of hard to see, but in fact the hotel IS on Haywood Road. I apologize for the confusion. And also, That O Charlies Isn't even open anymore I don't think. I think It went out of business, but any I'm sorry about the confusion. Please forgive me!

I hope to see you guys at the hotel on Haywood Road.

Brainstorming an idea....I wanted to ask u guys,have you ever thought about a shootout between the Carolina's? Either Rockingham or Darlington are some good 1/2 mile tracks and we don't even get a B.O.T.I. to come around the areas unless its Georgia or Florida, If I read the schedule right. But the real reason is that if u want to have a good meet and not just to chill and cruise, but for some people that want to drag race or just to park and show off their cars. I think it can be done to start a trend for this to happen every year. It will just take the right amount of people to agree and participate for something like this to happen. I wish I can be there for the SC meet thats going to take place in a couple of weeks, but my school is going to last for 5 weeks in Pensacola. I wish that some of you will just sit back and think of what im try to implement here.
