dsm chip ?

hey guys whats up im gonna get a DSM Chip. As of now im runnin 550s,t-25,and apexi afc neo.I know for a base tune i gotta run -15 to -18 across the board. but im gonna go bigger .Im not sure how much bigger but i wanna get my chip done for 780cc injectors while still running 550s. Now this is where i need some info I did a little math and came up with +42 for a base tune with the neo across the board.Does this sound like it would work . The reson for the DSM Chip is i have the 1g swap and i like the price compared to other things.Any help would be great. Thanks to all who help me

That would really mess with your timing, since the ECU thinks you'll be flowing way more air than you are. Plus you say you don't know how big you are going to go. Either wait and buy the right size injectors and chip for your goals at the same time, or have the chip reflashed when you go bigger. It's only $20 to have that done, unless you bump up to a higher stage, and it's not worth the savings to have a crappy tune in the meantime.

I know it's hard to wait until you have all the parts to do it right, but it's the best approach.

Matt speaks the truth. Just wait a little longer and do it right. Also I would go a little bigger on the injectors so that you will have more room to grow later.

Thanks for your info I didnt know about the timing. Ill buy all my parts and do it at the same time.
