does anyone have any experience running in the DS class? i was wondering how competitive the AWDs were compared to integra type R's and 330's.

Depends on your region and the drivers. You could look at the Pro National results to get an idea, but many of the 2G GSXs that run are in Street Mod.

You should do fine, just practice, and see if your region has a novice driver school and go to it. That will help you a lot with driving technique and reading the track
