I started a thread in the Midwest forum but I wanted to make sure everyone possible sees this.

http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241375

I want to get film of as many dsm's autocrossing possible. I have myself, and 2 other 1g's and a gvr4 to film but I'd like some 2g's and other as well. I may have a friend locally who can help me put this video together as I think it needs to be done as I've never seen a really good dsm video of this type. Hell, if you have film from this year and can send it to me I will probably use it.

Let's put together a kickass video to show what these cars can do and how much fun they are!!

Great video's, man I wish we had a lot half that size to autocross on. I don't see a way to download the videos from youtube, know how I can. I would def like to use the autox and rally video.

ok i posted that rallyx vid where you should be able to download it (indirectly) by watching the vid then clicking File->Save As to save the web page (which should download the avi too)

http://media.putfile.com/rallyx0625

if that works well, i can post the autox vid to putfile.com or if you know a better free site...

I think this is a great idea. I would definatly be interested in seeing it. 321govideo.com has done some rally stuff, they mix it up nice with some interviews of drivers. I would contribute but I don't autocross. Good luck with this project.

Once it's all put together I will find a site that will be able to host the video and put it up for everyone here to see.

Thanx JTM!!!

This thread is a bit old so I don't know if this video is already done or still in the works, but if you are still in need of footage of 2g's autocrossing I'm willing to help you out.

When my computer crashed a couple weeks ago, I lost all my old autocross videos so I don't have anything for you right now. However, my next planned event is May 5 and you're more than welcome to that (future) footage if you want it.

This is some footage of my GST back in 02-03 . She 'rotate's pretty good for a push sled ;) My wife is driving in some of the more 'loose' moments.

My 93 6/4 AWD which I should have spared this event. This was more of a muf bog tractor pull than a rally cross

The rally is normally dominated by sponsor financed Subarus. The most popular being Travis Pastrana, who I was fortunate enough to meet in person. Talked really fast. Probably amped up. (Red Bull sponsors him.) However, there are the local heros riding in the 1g's. To see this guys on their limited budgets and busy family lives rally with the professional teams is inspiring; a true underdog story.

Got any more of those?
I should be back for LSPR this year, and I'm doing Ojibwe for sure.
