drum brakes inside of rear rotor WTF!!!

OK so i just went to replace my rear rotors and pads, and when i pull off the rotors inside there is a drum brake set up. I figured out this was the E-brake, is this normal on 2g's? I've never seen this before. Also the passanger rear is making a light grinding/squeling noise when i drive it. I figure that maybe i need to push the piston back in a little farther, what do you think?Thanks in advance guys!!

Umm pushing the piston in isn't gonna do anything. It's just gonna come back out when you hit the brakes.

I said the same thing when I found that in the rear WTF????? Its the E- brake set up. It completely normal. Those brakes will never wear out. The adjustment for the E-brake is in the center console. Its a bolt connected to the cable. Maybe adjust it to have more slack on ther cable.

Did you put _all_ the little clips, shims and doodads back on the pads?

Yeah everything is back on, i'll check twice to be sure. With just the rotor on, i'll spin it and there is no grinding, so i know it's not the e-brake shoes. Once i bolt the caliper on and try to spin it then the grinding happens.The grinding is just on the passanger side.I'll go over everything again, and see what happens.

is that with the wheel on or lugs to hold the rotor from being crooked?
